Other Visas

There are many other visas that people could apply for, some of them are Tourist, Working Holiday, Resident Return, Refugee & humanitarian, Distinguished Talent visas in others. Two of the most popular visas are: 

Tourist visas: are for people that plan to come to Australia to visit family members or friends, for pleasure or for other short-term non-work purposes. People on this visa are not allowed to work and could study for a maximum of 3 months. And

Working holiday visas: are for people aged between 18 and 30 from arrangement countries to have an extended holiday supplemented by short-term employment. Arrangement countries are: United Kingdom Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Republic of Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malta, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Taiwan, Iran, Thailand, Turkey and the USA.

You could also generally  apply for a review (at MRT or RRT)on the cancelation of a visa, and even If you do not have a legal status in Australia and want to legalize it, you may be able to do so (depending on each particular case).
